Teresa- I'm becoming a big fan of yours. It's nice to listen to someone who is well-read and educated. I feel I'm getting smarter by listening to you on the podcast. You're also an incredible writer. Where could I find famous essays you've published?

Also, I don't recall you talking about Jay Mohr's twitters on the podcast but of John Mayer's. Same initials, I guess;-)

Howdy.

This is a completely inappropriate comment, but you are really, really hot for a pregnant chick.

And I feel like it has to be some weird Freudian thing going on because I'm a guy, so I try to struggle against it. And it's not like pregnant women are my "thing" or what I'm into- in fact, the fact that there is pregnancy porn is something I find to be rather disturbing- but I cannot deny your beauty. Not only simple beauty, but the fact that despite the fact that you probably feel all nauseous and suffocated and sweaty right now, that you are, in general, sexy.

I'm sure you get loads of comments from guys who are into the whole pregnancy thing in general (note: the rest of us guys find those guys to be creepy), and I'm seeming like one of those, I'm sure, so I'll stop my rambling.

Also, Mad Men season premiere, best show ever.

Thanks for doing the podcasts Teresa! You guys are a great team, and it's neat that you're staying connected with people even when you're pregnant. I hope we can look forward to hearing you after you deliver your child!

Teresa - I heard you on Adam and on The Young Turks with Cenk and Ben. It was quite a treat to hear your news twice in one day. You're really smart and funny T, being over exposed is not much of a problem for interesting people with real talent. Particularly those worried about being over exposed.

I hear you're going to do The Young Turks again with Ben. You two are really good together, just like you and Adam.

(When I'm feelig really horrible about myself I watch your first video meltdown. Instant perk.)

Teresa, I love the new format. I am not sure I want to hear the news every day, but it is a good break from the interviews. Since i know you are into the Not TV Show Porns, i came across this today in my web travels: Not the Cosby Show. Here is the preview on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2nZUn4t7nE&

I hope you enjoy. Stay healthy

T -- I am enjoying the news podcasts. It brings back what I liked about The ACS.

Speaking as a history buff, I think there is a lot of myth and legend about the Ellis Island name-changing stories. The immigration clerks at Ellis Island were, in fact, educated and worldly people who spoke many languages.

I read the book "The History of the Jews" by Paul Johnson which went into the history of Jewish surnames. Jews were forced to take family names for the census by the Russian and Austrian emperors in the 18th century and took German names that were generic or reflected their professions, hence names like "Goldman." My Jewish relatives have the name Moline, which comes from the French word for "Miller," which is another common Jewish name.

"Strasser," in German just seems to translate as "townsperson." Just like "Landsman" means country bumpkin.

I know a lot of Jews simplified their names when they came to the U.S. (i.e., Glaczkiewitz became Glazier), especially when their kids went to school. Then there were those later generations who maybe adapted less Jewish-sounding names in Hollywood, but I don't see how a first-generation Jewish family would settle down in the Lower East Side with their accents and introduce themselves as the "Smiths -- Presbyterians from Wisconsin!" That doesn't seem likely.

Hey T

SO happy you're having a more regular presence with Adam. However, I continue to be sad because my ACS withdrawn makes me think that with the two of you, it's only 2/3's of what it was. B and the drops were such a huge part of the chemistry, and I think nearly all the listeners agree. Too bad Jack didn't seem to share that opinion. From time to time I come home from work having my wife (we're both ex-klsx staffer podcast listeners) telling me she was in tears because of something B related.

Shit, I'll get this happier...

I really hope that after the little boy comes, you'll still find time to share your wit and intelligence with us regularly.

Please stick with this podcasting thing. What Adam and Ryan (Adam really should bring Ryan on board, he's really turning into quite the pod-marketer, they'd both do better for it) and the whole crew have going is so exciting. I sincerely feel like it's the being of a great thing that'll be around for many years.

All the best T.

T-Bone!

You, my dear, are an awesomely fantastic woman. I listened to the radio show every day after you were added. I know this sounds a bit strange, but I feel like I know you as well as Adam and Bald B. I'm a huge Carolla fan and I've listened to every podcast, but I've found myself more and more excited to listen when you're on. I'm glad the podcasts are uncensored so you can say what you really want to say. I love your insight, view on things and life in general.

You share many of the psychotically lovely qualities that my fiance has. That's probably why I dig you so much. I guess that I just wanted to share my admiration for you, your personality, your insight and your sexy ass!

Your man is the 2nd luckiest guy in the world next to me of course ;)

I wish you the best with the remainder of your prego-ness and look forward to hearing you on the podcast and reading your blog.

Take care miss.
